About the job

• Define and drive the Supply Chain strategy to support the top and bottom-line growth ambitions of Commercial Operations in the designated markets.
• Represent the affiliate as the key Supply Chain stakeholder, both internally and externally, acting as the primary contact in the regional and global Supply Chain organization for that country.
• Lead the transformation of the Supply Chain department: review and recommend changes in procedures and practices; contribute to cost optimization through project generation and implementation; build a customer-centric organization.
• Optimize cross-functional support within the local organization, ensuring effective communication between direct reports and other impacted teams such as Quality Operations, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance.
• Lead and manage the Supply Chain team, ensuring staff are qualified, competent, coached, motivated, and provided opportunities for development.
• Ensure compliance with all guidelines, including Legal, Internal and External Control, GxP, and HSE requirements, with proactive prevention and timely corrective actions for gaps.About youEducation: Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or Management.Experience:
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience required.
  • Minimum 15+ years of operational experience and success in Supply Chain functions such as purchasing, materials management, logistics, customer service, and S&OP.
  • Experience in a multinational environment.
  • Proven ability to support business needs and manage organizational and people-management topics.Required Skills:
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, analytical tools; knowledge of SAP and PowerBI.
    • Understanding of key business issues impacting Supply Chain and its role in commercial operations.
    • Soft skills: Effective communication, People leadership, Negotiation, Stakeholder engagement.
    • Technical skills: Analytical thinking, Strategic planning, Process improvement, Customer & Key Account engagement, Vendor management, Knowledge of GDP, Regulatory requirements, and local legislation.
