Job Description:

Manpower is currently looking for Forklift operator / Shipping/ Receiving associate to work with one of the leading manufacturer of small, bite sized, high quality, indulgent baked goods company. The ideal candidate will be working out of the Shirley, NY facility. This is an AMAZING company to work for!
General Information:
+ Monday - Thursday -5pm - 5am (occasional weekend and OT availability needed)
+ Pay Rate- $18.75
+ 3-month assignment - immediate start
Job Description:
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
Transport raw materials to production workstations
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
Utilize various machines such as:
o Electric Rider Jacks
+ Reach Trucks
+ Walk Behind Reach Trucks
+ Counterbalance
Qualifications:
+ Must have 2 years' experience minimal.
+ High School equivalent
+ Must be Forklift certified or able to pass forklift testing onsite.
+ Must have excellent customer service.
+ Strong attention to detail
