Material Handler I - TempBUISNESS: CIRCOR Aerospace, IncLOCATION: Hauppauge, NYDIRECT REPORTING: Supply Chain SupervisorFUNCTIONAL REPORTING: OperationsPOSITION DETAILSPosition SummaryPicks/pulls materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists.Principal Activities

• Counts, bags, palletizes and identifies production materials.
• Prepares, stages and delivers materials to the manufacturing floor and shipping.
• --Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the prime location and space available criteria.
• Operates industrial reach truck power material handling equipment and manual material handling equipment.
• Utilizes Vantage to a degree of proficiency necessary to investigate and resolve manufacturing work order/production part discrepancies, inventory reconciliation, incoming inventory, and finished goods product allocations and shipments to customers.
• Prepares, directly for customer use, spare parts and rebuilding kits.
• Conducts inventories resulting from cycle count and special request.CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTSKnowledge Skills & Abilities--

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 50 pounds
