The Role
Gorilla Commerce is looking for a Director of Logistics to develop and execute logistics strategies and KPIs to achieve strategic results that are relevant to the organization. The individual will report to the Senior Director of Inventory Management & Logistics.

What You'll Do
- Lead and execute logistic strategies that optimize the entire supply chain
- Manage the flow of inventory through multiple locations to ensure smooth, timely and efficient supply chain movement
- Ensure on-time cargo delivery that support inventory targets
- Drive cross-functional process improvement that supports the overall logistics strategy
- Develop and meet agreed upon freight and logistics budgets
- Manage the information required for international shipments including tariff code allocation, commercial invoice requirements and customs and duty costs and payments.
- Regularly evaluate freight forwarders performance/costs and make changes where necessary
- Oversee relationships with third-party logistics facilities

Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in logistics leadership roles
- Experienced in managing 3PLs and international freight forwarding
- Experience managing logistics in China
- Bachelor's degree in transportation, business, supply chain or related field
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Index/Match
- Systems including NetSuite, not required but a plus
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
- Confidence to work with multiple partners to resolve exceptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work successfully in a cross functional environment
