• $28.44 - $32.32 per hour pending experience + ASE Certifications earn you bonus money! $.10 cents per ASE!

  • Ongoing training - learn and work on gas, diesel, & alternative fuel vehiclesDIESEL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
    • Repairs and maintains school buses and school bus equipment.
    • Test drives repaired equipment.
    • Oils and greases vehicles; changes filters.
    • Notifies the supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.DIESEL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
      • 3 - 5 years minimum hands-on diesel/bus maintenance experience.
        • 3 years of diesel/bus experience with diesel vocational school is also considered.
        • Must possess or be willing to obtain S4 brakes ASE (First will pay for testing for this and all ASEs)
        • Be at least18 years of age
        • CDL holders highly preferred. (You will receive a $1/hr increase with your CDL)
          • Non-CDL holders are considered but must be willing to obtain CDL B with required endorsements.
          • Be subject to a drug test and physical
          • ASE Diesel Certifications Strongly Preferred
            • Must be able/willing to obtain
