Victory Recovery Partners is looking for an experienced CASAC to join our rapidly growing team and our newly formed methadone clinic programThe CASAC is responsible for providing individual counseling to program clients. The CASAC will work with the program supervisor and other staff and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement treatment plans for clients with history of substance abuse on methadoneResponsibilities and DutiesThe CASAC is expected to: Assess program clients and participate in a comprehensive evaluation of each client to screen for substance use and eligibility for methadone. Document, implement and update the treatment and/or individual service plan for clients as assigned. Knowledge of OASAS 822 regulations and documentation requirements. Write Daily progress notes, maintain all documentation requirements in a timely manner. Facilitate group counseling sessions. Experience in didactic educational group presentation a plus. Participate in quality assurance review as required by program management. Plan and facilitate aftercare with community based providers. Identify and develop relationships with community based providers. Background in Case Management a plus - strong knowledge of community resources. Perform other duties as may be assigned.Qualifications and Skills Valid New York State CASAC credential required. High School Diploma required, BA/BS preferred. 1-2 yrs experience working with clients with history of alcohol or substance abuse preferred but will train the right candidate.Job Type: Full-time -Varied hoursExperience: Substance Abuse Counseling: 1 year preferred but will train the right candidate.Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week.
