Essential Functions: Sr. Specialized Security Officers assigned to Religious Facilities will be expected to handle moderately complex security functions while operating without direct supervision, utilizing training and previous law enforcement, military, or supervisory private security experience. Primary security functions for accepted applicants who complete required position specific training include, but are not limited to:

* Maintain safe and secure environment for patrons and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
* Greet visitors and maintain access control logs
* Provide a strong security presence

This is an upscale security position that requires professional attire; suit and tie and the appearance of neatness and respectability. Applicants will be required to meet high standards of grooming.

Staff in the Special Operations Department are subjected to working in all environments, with a variety of clients, stress situations for complex projects which demand analytical skills, logical reasoning, and excellent communication skills as a part of the security infrastructure in the above cited contracts. All personnel are involved in multi-level aspects with all clients.

This position requires you to undergo an extensive 10-year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references.

Additional requirements

* Three years + experience in a supervisory capacity
* Five years + experience in Law Enforcement, Military, and or Private Security/Government Contract
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Must have a valid State Security License with Armed License and endorsement
* Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
* High School Diploma or G.E.D.
* Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes, exams, and inspections as administered in accordance with federally regulated mandates and corporate policy
* Must have access to reliable transportation
* Must have clean driving record

Language Skills: English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

Work is performed in a combination of indoor/outdoor environments. Must have sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses; sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices; capable of being on ones feet for extended periods of time.

Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
