We are seeeking a Java Software Developer to join our Product Software Licensing team as we grow into the SaaS space. In this role, you will take our software licensing to the next level by creating a smooth licensing experience for our customers, and transitioning over to user and account-based licensing.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of software modules and micro-services that constitute a portion of a larger project.
  • Runs software tests designed by more experienced engineers.
  • Makes changes to or upgrades existing software; enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions.
  • Participates and provides input in project code reviews.
  • Engages as part of an Agile scrum software development team, contributing tasks and work effort to user stories for specific sprints and epics.
  • Participates in analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing business problems to be solved with enhancements to utilities, integration, or automation.
  • Reviews test results and performs root cause analyses to identify and fix problems, providing mitigating actions to prevent future failures.
  • Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues and enhance performance to improve productivity. Ensures compliance with quality process and standards.
  • Investigates new tools to analyze and solve problems.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity.
  • Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters. Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline required
      • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in software development engineering or Master's degree with no experience required
      • Minimum 2 years solid working experience with Java Full Stack required
      • Minimum 2 years solid working experience with SQL required
      • Minimum 2 years solid working experience with Spring Boot required
      • Minimum 2 years solid working experience with UI required
      • Minimum 2 years solid working experience with API required
      • Experience in writing APS's
      • Ability to work autonomously and independently Preferred Qualifications:
        • Excellent organization skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, and manage multiple activities concurrently
        • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
        • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
        • Strong analytical abilities
        • Excellent active listening skills
        • Functions and works well with other team members in a global environment.
        • Knows when to ask for help - knows when they're too deep in the weeds
        • Challenges the status quo and comes up with new and innovative ideas for solving problems
        • Enjoys new challenges / comfortable with ambiguity / agile

          Salary: USD 80300.00 - USD 120500.00 Yearly

          Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
          Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
