Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.We are looking for a Forklift Operator at our production facility in Yaphank, VA.What you'll do in this role:Responsible for operating forklifts, clamp trucks, etc to transport inbound and outbound shipmentsPull and arrange product for shipment ensuring that the exact number and type of product is preparedStack and store the merchandise in a clean, neat, and orderly mannerEnsure proper finished goods and raw materials stock rotationUnload raw material and put away according to storage planSupport production by delivering/removing raw materials to and from production equipment/processesInspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipmentReport quality and safety outages and work to correct where necessaryComply with OSHA and MSDS StandardsWhat you'll need to be successful:Preferred education level is a High School Diploma or GEDMust have at least one to two years recent experience operating a forkliftKnowledge of safe practices and proceduresAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to climb on and off of required equipmentAbility to communicate effectivelyWhat we do for you (just to name a few cool ones):Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holidays, vacation and sick time benefits available within a month of your start dateHealthcare navigation, advocacy and support401(k) company match up to 7.5% with immediate participation and vestingAbility to purchase company stock at a 15% discounted price from market value$600 annual wellness reimbursement programUp to $30,000 to help cover the cost of fertility treatments, adoption or surrogacyUp to 18 weeks of time away to support your growing familyTo view all of our great benefits, click here!* Eligibility for the above benefits may vary based on full-time/part-time status or additional factors.Not interested in this role?
