As a member of the in-home Care Management team, the Care Coordinator(Scheduler)provides overall support of services to clients and caregivers.If you believe you are a good match, we'd love to hear from you! For consideration,you must a resume.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHome Care: Schedule caregivers with clients; confirm schedules Client charting and system profile management Support recruiting and interviewing New client intakes. New caregiver onboarding and orientation. Caregiver technology setup and maintenance Caregiver / client introductions electronic and by phone Manage On-call rotation weeknights and weekendsGeneral / Administrative: Answer phones and direct calls as appropriate Support Care Manager with duties as assigned Support care team within the agencyEssential Job Requirements: High volume / fast paced scheduling/staffing experience (min. 2 years) Home care and administrative experience (min 2 years, max 10 years) Excellent phone etiquette a MUST Excellent time management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent documentation and detail orientation. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office) Energetic, positive, friendly attitude Ability to take directions & Follow through Ability to fill-in as a caregiver in emergency situationBasic Qualifications: Associate college degree, preferred Senior care experience a PLUS Pre-employment physical including negative TB skin test or chest X-ray Valid CT driver's license and good driving record Must pass criminal background check Must pass a drug screening Available to work 9 am to 6 pm 5 days a week Technical Skills: Very good computer skills (Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel), enabling preparation of documents, label generation, mailing lists, etc. Very good utilizing multi-line phone systems and office equipment (scanner, fax) Familiarity with (homecare) scheduling software is a Plus Requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the home care field.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to utilize a computer, type and use the telephone for extended periods of time Ability to get in and out of a car multiple times a day during field visitsBehavioral Skills:Requires the ability to prioritize and complete work on time, be detail-oriented, exhibit a service orientation to clients and be team player with a positive attitude. Requires solid reliability, timeliness, organizational skills, and thoroughness. Requires excellent interpersonal skills.
