Apply today!Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone inquiries promptly in high volume call center.
  • Responsible for intake of orders and opening new customer computer accounts, monitoring accounts for accuracy and completion.
  • Collect co-pays & co-insurances for services rendered.
  • Respond to customer emails regarding order status, updates on orders being held, etc.
  • Maintain product knowledge and attend in-services on products in order to better serve our customers.
  • Educate customers on product availability & suggest additional add on products relative to the patients diagnosis.
  • Ensure compassionate and positive interactions with customers, caregivers, referral sources, and payors.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action.
    Role Requirements:
    • 1-2 years experience in a professional setting, preferably healthcare
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurances
    • Proficient in computer software, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. AS400 (Iseries) a plus
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbally
    • Excellent Customer Service Skills
      Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
      • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with physicians, employees, and patients to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
      • Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
      • Multi-task along with attention to detail
      • Self-motivation, organized, time management and deductive problem solving skills
      • Work independently and as part of a team
      • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
      • Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
        Physical Demands of the Position:
        • Hours of talking and hearing on a daily basis
        • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
        • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
        • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking (phone and in person), or listening
        • Routine walking and standing for long periods of time
        • Use of hands to write, use computers and manipulate paper
