PURPOSE: The Customer Development Representative is responsible for qualifying new leads with in the Builder, Contractor, and Architect communities in support of our segment sales teams. In addition to managing the inbound lead activity and qualifying leads, the customer development representative will determine the appropriate path for the lead. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive leads, educate, qualify, and develop inbound leads to "appointments." Research leads/accounts, gauge interest/fit and obtain business requirements in line with our ideal customer profile. Disseminate opportunities to appropriate sales team members, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity.
  • Qualify warm leads generated by sales-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections leveraging Richardson training.
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects.
  • Update lead rating and prospect interaction in Salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead pass.
  • Meet Service Level Agreement (SLAs) for lead review and consistently deliver high quality marketing qualified leads to sales team partners.
  • Calls will be recorded and metrics will be tracked based on output from the call center. Metrics and goals will be shared with the team. Continued coaching/training will be part of the weekly work.       • Spanish and English - need to communicate with bi-lingual customers
      • A self-starter with a track record of successful customer relationship management; experience in windows and doors industry a plus
      • Team player; ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment
      • Identify, recommend and implement process improvements.
      • Maintain and review key performance indicators (KPI's) and recommend adjustments
      • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
      • Strong customer service skills with the highest level of integrity
      • College degree or equivalent work experience
