PURPOSE:

Manage the deployment and execution of the internal bid team resources to effectively support commercial sales. Effective deployment will drive segment sales growth, increase segment market share, mitigate risk, and standardize processes increasing selling time. Support and develop processes and training programs that ensure team resources are successful in providing product recommendations and quotes to commercial sales partners that meet design and performance requirements as requested.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide leadership and work direction to the internal services team. Establish effective and efficient utilization and standardized processes; Develop key performance indicators to manage the team's overall workload effectively to ensure accurate and timely project delivery. * Develop and lead a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, while taking ownership of the end-to-end project process. Assist sales with managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition / strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification and risk management. * Drive sales growth by successfully managing an effective lead conversion process. Including but not limited to educating and engaging with potential customers, scoring, prioritizing and nurturing leads until sufficiently qualified. Develop and publish effective key performance indicators and metrics for overall leadership visibility and success measurement. * This role is responsible for managing a team of up to 10-15 employees, including but not limited to project coordinators, project specialists, and product experts. Key responsibilities include developing key performance metrics, employee development, performance management and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in related field desired; 5-7 years of leadership experience; or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities. * Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills and experience working with or as part of a field Sales organization is required. * A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and manage sales opportunity activity to meet customer and/or sales deadlines. * Ability to partner cross-functionally and interact effectively with all level * CRM experience, specifically a background with Salesforce.com, is a plus.
