A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Finisher. Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Duration: 12months Location: Amityville, NY 11701 (Onsite/2nd Shift/3:30pm-1am) Job Description: Work with various equipment to perform the following functions: Mask using proper protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction. Sand using proper equipment (Da or dotco sanding equipment) and appropriate sandpaper grit Mix and apply various sealants and adhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction Ability to work in a fast paced, high performing, and inclusive environment Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls. Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement Must- Haves: Any finishing/painting in the Autobody industry (Sanding/masking/protective tape/finishing) People that have worked construction have also worked out (Sheetrocking) Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE Basic computer skills/literate – able to follow work instructions, enter timecard online etc., windows/MS office Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience Thanks & Regards Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
