Job Description:
Il Capriccio Ristorante located in Whippany, New Jersey is
seeking an Executive Pastry Chef. The ideal candidate must have a
passion for food and fine dining. We encourage the Executive Pastry
Chef to showcase their passion, talent and skills through their
dessert creations. Job Description/ Requirements: - Must have at
least 5 years of Pastry Management experience with fine dining.
-Must be well versed in Italian and European desserts. -Must be
highly organized as to provide adequate time for preparation and
dessert plating. -Must be willing to work and stand for long
durations of time in a fast paced kitchen. -Create and prepare
desserts for the a la carte menu as well as for party menu's and
special events. -Create weekly dessert specials. - Maintain an
impeccable work area with attention to detail. - Responsible for
inventory and ordering of pastry supplies. Employment Type: Full
Time Years Experience: 5 - 10 years Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
