Production Supervisoris a critical role within our Manufacturing
Plant, responsible for leading/driving operations and productivity
within the compounding department. You will lead up to 20 team
members to ensure daily efficient manufacturing operations.Work
Schedule: Evening shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Monday-Friday)Key
Responsibilities:
- Motivates and guides the team to meet all daily targets
including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs), Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures
(OGSMs)
- The Supervisor of Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing
Practices (cGMPs) are in effect, assuring the quality and quantity
of products produced.
- Identifies and supports continuous improvement activities in
process efficiencies, costs, and productivity
- Implements sustainable improvements and procedural changes to
enhance department performance
- Coaches and develops associates by performing regular
evaluations of associates through the accumulation of events in an
individual's coaching diary
- Uses Root Cause Analysis to investigate operational errors and
recommends corrective/preventative action where needed for a
positive result
- Motivates associates in maintaining quality and efficiency
throughout the department
- Ensures that batch records and logbooks are properly
documented
- Creates a safe and positive work environment for all
associates
- Ensures all Manufacturing Team members follow all SOPs, cGMPs,
safety requirements and procedures P
- Performs other duties as assignedExperience and Education
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within a
manufacturing environment preferred.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Work experience or military experience can be in lieu of
education
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work
independently to meet daily deadlines and objectives
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and follow up when responses are
needed
- Knowledge and proven ability to work effectively in high
performing organizations
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills are required
- Systems: proficiency in various computer systems and
programs
- SAP, Excel, PP, DEMO & Kronos
- Ability to utilize effective interpersonal skills to
communicate and positively influence team members
- Ability to assess potential risks and quickly apply the
appropriate corrective actions
- Ability to analyze numbers, determine trends, and make
recommendations for actions to be taken
- Must be able to motivate and energize others to work toward the
achievement of organizational goals and objectives
- Must be able to effectively communicate with senior management,
outside consultants, suppliers, and associates
- Ability to successfully collaborate with support functions such
as EHS, Quality, Maintenance, Production, Inventory Control,
Planning, and Human Resources
- Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, within a
manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and
allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten,
