Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Hackensack, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (Cardiac Cath Lab) Job Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for: - Assessing and evaluating patients - Assisting physicians during procedures - Planning, implementing, and documenting patient care - Managing care based on patient acuity and clinical priorities - Performing therapeutic nursing interventions - Advocating for evidence-based practice - Providing patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards Clinical Responsibilities - Develop and coordinate individualized care plans - Perform ongoing patient assessments - Administer medications - Provide intra-procedural documentation - Act as circulator during minimally invasive procedures - Manage patient care throughout the procedural cycle ?? Required Experience Must have: - Cath Lab experience - Experience functioning as an Intra-Procedural RN - Strong documentation skills during procedures - Experience with: - LHC (Left Heart Cath) - PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) Preferred experience with advanced equipment: - IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) - Impella - Shockwave therapy - Atherectomy devices - Vascular and/or Neuro diagnostic & interventional procedures Schedule Details - Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM - 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts) - 13-week contract - Weekends & holidays as needed - On-call required On-Call Expectations - Required to cover Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) - Support cardiac procedures during off-hours & weekends - On-call rotation approx. every 5 weeks (based on staffing needs) - Subject to change About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
