This opportunity is ideal for surgeons looking for consistent weekday coverage , exposure to complex cardiac and thoracic cases , and the flexibility of locum work with long-term potential. Position Highlights Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery (Adult) Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Call Coverage: Nights & weekends (rotational) Case Volume: Approx. 2 surgical cases per day Practice Setting: Hospital-based (OR, ICU, inpatient rounding) EMR: EPIC Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric Procedures & Clinical Scope Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG – on & off pump) Redo coronary revascularization Heart valve repair & replacement (including Mitral) Thoracic & descending aortic aneurysm repair Arterial revascularization techniques Tube thoracostomy & pericardial window Advanced cardiac surgical care ?
