Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Brick, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Duration: 10-13 Week Contract Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, telemetry certified, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with non-titratable cardiac drips and medications - Teamwork-oriented Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with a professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. 5-6:1 patient ratio. RN must be willing and able to treat and manage patients with a variety of conditions including but not limited to flu, COVID, heart issues, and lung issues. Education required: ASN. Education preferred: BSN. Holidays required as needed. Experience with non-titratable cardiac drips and medications is required.
