Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Urology Department. This
position is based at our 23 Hackett Blvd., Albany, NY location,
where you will work directly with healthcare professionals
dedicated to making a difference in patients' lives. As a Per Diem
LPN in Urology, you will provide essential nursing care focused on
the diagnosis and treatment processes for urological disorders,
play a crucial role in patient preparation and recovery, and
maintain flexible hours to accommodate fluctuating staffing needs.
Administer nursing care to patients suffering from urological
conditions. Assist in diagnostic procedures and implement treatment
plans. Record patient vital signs, medical information, and test
results in medical records. Collaborate with the urology healthcare
team to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients and their
families on disease management and prevention. Manage and operate
medical equipment related to urologic testing and treatment.
Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and
families. Maintain patient confidentiality and adherence to
professional nursing ethics. Strong practical knowledge of urology
nursing practices. Ability to operate urological testing and
treatment equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills. Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records. Strong
clinical skills in disease management and patient care. Current LPN
license in the state of New York. CPR certification preferred.
