Position Highlights: Physician-led, Patient-centered team-based care environment Focus on Quality instead of Quantity while delivering utmost care to patients Moderate scheduling templates to promote Work and Life Balance Partner with other medical professionals while practicing with autonomy Practice at the peak of your license providing evidence-based medicine Patient Assessments, Formulating Care Plans, Finding Gaps in Care Delivery, Communicating and Teaching patients about personal Care Management Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests Assist in surgical procedures and manage post-operative care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Educate patients and their families on urological health and treatment options Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulations Flexibility to work in Middletown, NY – splitting time each day between hospital and clinic Schedule is 5 days, 8-hour shifts with no weekend, no call What makes an Optum Career different? Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
