Job Position: RNLocation: Paterson, NJ 07503DescriptionA dedicated School Nurse is needed to provide health care services to students, promote wellness, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment in Paterson, NJ school. This position is perfect for a compassionate professional with a passion for pediatric care and education.Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to student health needs, including providing first aid and emergency care as required.
• Administer medications according to school policies and physician instructions.
• Keep accurate health records and ensure compliance with New York State and federal regulations.
• Work with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student health and well-being.
• Perform health screenings (e.g., vision, hearing) and coordinate referrals to appropriate care providers.
• Provide education to students and staff on topics like hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of nursing experience, ideally in pediatrics or school nursing.
