A healthcare organization on Long Island is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to their staff. In this role, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will be responsible for providing quality care for underserved New Yorkers. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.Responsibilities:The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will be responsible for:

• Medication management
• Psychiatric evaluations spanning all DSM diagnoses
• Performing other duties, as neededQualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a Mental Health and/or Psychiatric setting
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) license
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Patient oriented
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
