Peds First PediatricsMedical Receptionist, Full TimeWe are seeking a candidate for a Medical Receptionist position. The Medical Receptionist role is everyone's first point of contact for the office. Flexibility, professional appearance, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial for this role. The office requires attention to details while maintaining a welcoming presence for both patients, their parents, and visitors.Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pmFriday: 8:00am - 6:00pmSaturday & Sunday: 8:00am - 2:00pmCompany Overview:Founded in 2006, Allied Physicians Group is one of the largest private Pediatric medical partnerships with the New York Metropolitan Area. Our Core Values are what makes our Culture:--- Respect--- Integrity--- Compassion--- Humility--- Empathy--- Staff--- GROWTH!Position Responsibilities:--- Greeting patients and visitors--- Answering telephones in a courteous and professional manner.--- Scheduling appointments for patients--- Collecting copays or balance due--- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, computer knowledge--- Must be personable, organized, and reliable--- Must like children and have a pleasant demeanor with children--- Multilingual (Spanish primarily) speaking a PLUSPreferred Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDMinimum one year in a medical office, pediatric experience a PLUSPrior experience and/or knowledge of EMR is required.Experience with GE Centricity preferred.Physical Requirements:Medical office that is both physically and emotionally challengingStanding or stooping for long periods of time.Mild physical labor to complete the tasks at hand.Exposure to blood, chemicals, and other bodily fluids.Possible heavy lifting (infants, toddlers, children)Other physical demands that coincide with the duties of a laboratory professional.Allied Physicians Group and Adjuvant.Health requires all new hires to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status upon offer of employment.
