Come join the growing Visiting Docs organization and provide meaningful, high quality, evidence based care to patients residing in an assisted living facility.
Looking for a motivated, hardworking, and experienced physician with experience in internal medicine and/or geriatrics.
Ideal candidate willhave previous experience working with patients in their residences or in assisted living facilities. -
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
--- Provide general primary care to facility patients.
--- Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.
--- Prescribe and refill medications as appropriate.
--- Actively communicate with patients, families, other specialists and facility staff (case managers, social workers, med room).
--- Order and interpret diagnostics tests such as imaging and lab work.
--- Documents patients' histories and treatments in EMR.
--- See patients via telehealth, as needed.
Qualifications:
--- Active unrestricted New York State license.
--- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.
--- PECOS enrolled.
--- DEA certified.
--- BCLS.
--- Knowledge of eClinicalworks preferred.
Part time schedule with no evenings or weekends required. -
On-call (phone) for your patients only.
