to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of
multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking an Equipment Automation
Intern as part of the Facilities & Engineering team based in
Raritan, NJ . Role Overview The Equipment Automation Intern will
support the Instrument Automation team in managing and maintaining
computerized systems within a GMP manufacturing environment. This
role involves assisting with compliance activities, troubleshooting
equipment connectivity, and supporting documentation and data
integrity efforts. The intern will gain exposure to regulatory
standards, system lifecycle management, and cross-functional
collaboration. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day
activities related to computerized systems, including project
execution, vendor coordination, and data management. Support
compliance with 21 CFR Parts 11, 210, 211, EU Annex 11, and other
applicable regulations. Participate in monitoring activities such
as SOP execution, data backup, disaster recovery, and user account
management. Help maintain and troubleshoot equipment network
connectivity. Contribute to technical and quality investigations,
CAPAs, and remediation efforts. Assist in authoring and reviewing
SOPs, change controls, and documentation for conformance to
regulatory standards. Support risk assessments, FMEAs, periodic
qualifications, and project plans. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to data integrity and
compliance requirements. Requirements Relevant academic major in
Engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related discipline. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on
a 4.0 scale. Desired Academic Grade Level: Junior/ Senior/Graduate
Student Strong interest in laboratory equipment and computerized
systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong interpersonal and organizational
skills. Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Skills You’ll Gain Understanding of computerized system compliance
and data integrity standards. Technical troubleshooting and
equipment connectivity management. Familiarity with controlled
systems and software (e.g., Maximo, Truvault, IDP, COMET,
Nucleoview). Experience authoring and executing SOPs and
