Toolmaker/Machinist - Whitehouse, NJ Pay: 28.00-35.00 an hour
Shift: 1st Shift We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker/Machinist with
prior machine shop experience. Applicants without this experience
will not be considered. Our shop is a modern, climate-controlled
facility certified to ISO 9001:2008 / AS9100 standards.
Conveniently located in Whitehouse, NJ, we're easily accessible
from Routes 78 and 22. Responsibilities Set up and run
high-precision, close-tolerance jobs Work primarily in the
medical/biomedical sector, with occasional aerospace projects
Assemble custom-built machines as required Read and interpret
mechanical and electrical schematics Build and wire custom
electrical control panels Maintain a clean, organized, and safe
work environment Set up and operate milling machines and lathes to
fabricate precision tools and components. Interpret technical
schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate manufacturing
processes. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers
and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform
routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational
issues. Qualifications Proven experience in a machine shop
environment Strong manual machining skills Ability to work
independently with minimal supervision Self-starter with
problem-solving skills Experience with machine assembly and light
electrical work is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge and
experience in manufacturing and tooling Proficiency in machining
techniques and use of precision measuring instruments, including
calipers and micrometers Experience with GD&T Understanding of
ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes Ability to work
with hand tools and fabrication techniques Job Type: Full-time Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Steel Toe
Boots Required Schedule: 5x8 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to
Friday Overtime Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: machine shop: 3 years (Preferred) Language: English
