Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers a unique opportunity to provide speech-language pathology
support in an elementary school setting, serving students in
kindergarten through fifth grade. The role is designed to support a
caseload of approximately 55 students and requires a dedicated
professional who holds a Texas SLP License with Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC). This contract assignment runs through
the current school year, beginning as soon as possible. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for
students in K-5. Develop and implement individualized treatment
plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student
progress. Provide consultation services to school staff regarding
speech and language development. Qualifications: Valid Texas
Speech-Language Pathologist License. Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience working within school
settings, preferably with pediatric populations. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Work Details: Location:
Hempstead, TX (Elementary School). Contract Duration: Current
School Year (CSY). Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 35-37.5 hours
per week. Caseload: Approximately 55 students, K-5 age group.
