We believe that family always comes first, and that the dedication of our associates is the key ingredient to our success.The Social Media Strategist will play a lead role in creating the vison and representation for our Wholesale brand lines. This individual will leverage their expert knowledge of social channels to build a tailored content calendar for each one, while utilizing current trends. The Social Media Strategist will increase engagement and followers by creating content that captures the attention of our audiences. They will work closely with our retail partner's social teams to build relations and strategize collaboratively in support of our brands. A successful candidate will be outgoing and focused with the both the ability to collaborate in a team as well as to work and thrive individually.Build Social Media Strategy: Build a creative social media strategy outlining creative to be shown, type of creative (reel, post, story) and understanding social engagement. Keep people coming back to the brand over and over again. Once this is built out, Social Media Coordinator will execute.Specific Platform Strategies: Look at our strategy for each of our social platforms independently, i.E., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat. Each follower on these platforms is different.Build Relationships with Retailer Social Media Platforms: Build relationships with retailer social platforms to executive on retailer specific social handles. Build creative strategy that is specific to that retailer's demographic. Sales team is not comfortable talking about social media, so it never gets brought up as a tactic.Competitive Research: Research & follow competitor social platforms to help build suggested strategies, content, etc.Manage Social Media Coordinator: Work with and assist Social Media Coordinator with calendar building, make recommendations for content improvement, and help get ahead of content.Increase our exposure and followers: Increase our posting frequency, improve our quality of content, and bring stronger content types (such as carousels, reels, and stories) into our mix, which all works to increase our exposure and followers.TikTok Expansion: Manage and establish our presence on TikTok, handle content creation, and stay ahead of trends.Review and Analyze: Review all program tactics and make certain we are meeting brand objectives, measurements, and goals. Show what is working, what is not, and come up with recommendations based on results.RequirementsBachelors' degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.3-5 years of direct experience creating and executing social media strategy (consumer goods experience preferred).Ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines while remaining flexible and be able to pivot when priorities change.Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.Expert knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and other social platforms.Experience using Adobe & Microsoft Suite.Proven experience using social media channels, tools, techniques, and best practices for business is a must.Experience with Sprout Social or other social media management tools.Demonstrated ability and desire to proactively identify, understand and communicate significant opportunities, findings, and issues to leadership is a must.Knowledge of channel strategy, audience attributes, and value of social media channels in meeting business objectives.Familiarity with the supplement industry is a plus.Piping Rock LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
