Contract-to-hire opportunity Heavy Hybrid (1 day/week in office) PE-Backed company Great Pay Job Details Position Summary: The Payroll Specialist, reporting to the Payroll Manager, will support payroll operations for over 700 employees across multiple states. This position will ensure that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance. Day to Day Responsibilities: Full-cycle payroll for multiple states across the northeast for 700 employees Will operate within ADP Workforce Now environment Pay data batch adjustments, manual check processing, off-cycle processing, pay data imports Run various pre-payroll reports Payroll reconciliations, balancing time batches and adjustment batches including timecard exceptions, PTO reconciliation, pre-rates/retro pays, commissions, and off-cycle payroll Process special payrolls, manual checks, bonuses Manage Time & Attendance system Prepare earnings, taxes, deductions, and other reports Assist with payroll tax filings Ensure compliance with all garnishments Local taxes for remote employee taxing Maintain payroll-related records and ensure compliance and control procedures Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 reconciliation, wage & hour monitoring Assist with payroll integrations for M&A activities Review timecards for hourly employees for accuracy, overtime, unapproved time off Work with HR to resolve employee pay inquiries and issues Analyze payroll data and identify and explain variances Pickup, sort, and scan payroll related mail correspondence at corporate office Ad-hoc reports and other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: 7 years in full-cycle payroll ADP Workforce Now 600 employee payroll Multi-state payroll Multi-entity payroll Strong Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables) Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare / Doctor payroll Traveling employee payroll (work in multiple states) Interested in hearing more?
