Tax Pillar OverviewThe Tax Pillar oversees tax compliance for the clients of the family office. This includes a wide array of areas, including investment and business entities as well as individual and trust reporting. The Tax Pillar also plays a key role working with other Pillars at the DFO on planning and implementing new strategies and structures for our clients.Position SummaryWe are looking for a Tax Senior/Pillar Coordinator to report to the Senior Tax Manager. The ideal candidate will take initiative in tax administration and detailed review of tax returns, in addition to driving operational updates for the tax pillar as needed. Candidates who have experience with a wide range of tax returns, enjoy managing small projects and collaborating with multiple teams will excel in this fast-paced and unique role.Day-to-day Responsibilities Would Include a Combination Of The Following

• Administrative support the Tax Compliance Pillar including
• Managing all trackers for tax returns and ensure tax returns and notices are progressing according to determined deadlines
• Preparing Metrics
• Managing budgets
• Tracking and monitoring of projects
• Detailed review of Tax Returns, working with teams as needed on open questions and tracking any missing items
• Maintain tax pillar machines, liaising with tax coordinator as needed
• Prepare file memos supporting tax positionsQualifications
  • 2-5+ Years minimum working at a public accounting firm or family office
  • CPA Certification preferred
  • Exposure to a variety of tax returns - trusts, individuals, non-profits, partnerships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
